I was decided on Bulldog CA2000C Centaur but saw a post from @Wombles which said that there wasn’t enough clearance with the wheel arches.

So, any alternatives I should look at? Preferably heavy duty, Sold Secure Gold.

Thanks.

Hi again - think the lack of clearance comes from having 16 inch wheels on the Maxi chassis so don't know if it is the same for 15 inch? The Centaur will still go on the front but not as secure as on the back & will squeeze in on the rear but too close to paintwork when taking it on & off for comfort!
You have probably already seen the alternative that we chose https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/bulldog-em4x4ss-wheel-clamp-£90-delivered-saunderson-security.183736/#post-3012694 - it's Gold Sold Secure too.
Will be interesting to know about any other options too.

Thanks for the explanation. I’m assuming there would be a similar problem with the Fiat chassis. Did the Euroclamp come with looking wheel bolts pr did you buy those separately?

The locking wheel bolts were bought elsewhere - sizing wise it's best to measure your existing wheel bolts as can vary quite a bit - more details here https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/foru...vc-modding-accessories-discount-codes.184590/ & copied here:
Evo 5 locking wheel bolts are Thatcham rated & Gold Sold Secure standard (£35.22 delivered but sizes & prices vary) & have used this type & bought from TDC Automotive before https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Citroen-...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

It was disappointing that they only come in a matte (see photo below) not chromed finish (so not like in the stock photo on the eBay listing) but with commercial vehicle sizes this is usual. It’s worth checking your sizes before ordering as these vary even on the same make & models.
