slightly off topic................

Had:

a BMW.............Herman the German

A Discovery called Dave

A Peugeot called Fifi

And a Nissan Micra called Bob! (daughter came up with that one).

I think it started when I at the age of 10 I had a mouse called Winston and a bunny called Mr Williams. I think the best one was my cat.........Frank :whatthe:

[HI]Dunno[/HI] WHAT I'm gonna call the new van :whatthe:

You're going to call the new one DUNNO ?

Ours is "Luscious Lucy"

SWMBO likes naming vehicles.

The van is called Foxy' or the van
The Toad (matiz) is called 'Loo' (from registration)
My Discovery is called 'the tank' owing to size and weight.
SWMBO's Polo is called Marco and it's predecessor Corsa was called Oscar (anag.)

after years of selfbuilds we bought a 1981 Merc 508D coachbuilt it was known by all as [HI]the Beast[/HI], as in Wildman and the Beast of Exmoor, hee hee. Our latest van is named [HI]Trevor [/HI]after a family member who left us a legacy to buy something that did not need constant repair.

Hi We've named all our 8 vans current one is called FIDGET (all others on photo album)as I/we never seem to stay anywhere longer than a couple of days (except at meets/shows) as we like to tour about in a sort of circle go one way back another if you see what I mean.

Well then, just discovered our new reg' includes FX

Since the van is grey and FX sounds like Fox and the van is German........

Graue Fuchs ? .............a bit dubious if drunk perhaps :whatthe:

So maybe Wolf instead of fox........... Graue Wolf

Or................. since the van is a Fiat......... Lupo Grigio :winky:

Hmm.......?? Decisions decisions :roflmto:
