Seeing as it is by the electric step switch...

Is it the awning/Outside light..??

To illuminate the steps?

I too would go for the awning light, due to the switch being illuminated, ie, so that you don't accidentally leave it on all night.

Cheers,

Jock. :)

I have a similar one ... next to my electric step switch ... But...

When switched off it turns all the gas appliances off ....

Could be similar..

Tank heater or light in locker/battery compartment?

It could be for a light that has a blown fuse I suppose but nothing else seems obvious. Everything works whether it is on or off, I think.

Master light switch?
let’s you leave the van with some lights on, leave the van, switches all lights off. When you get back click tha5 switch and the chosen lights come on, saves groping in dark.

The switch above it turns on the light just above the door and one on the opposite side.

When you switch it on, does it get real light in the van and when you switch it off, it goes dark again :xThumb:

I believe it is for a light in one of the front lockers :giggle:

Think you could be right Whiskeyman, the same suggestion has been made elsewhere. Will check it out.

Maybe, but why just one locker?
What if you want a different locker when it's dark
My thoughts are it's step illumination as it's on the same panel as the step switch
Pretty sure it is for the battery locker ⚡⚡⚡

Had a look today and it is for the battery locker. Seems an odd choice, how often do you need to go in there in the dark. Even the gas locker would have made a bit more sense.
