Cant find any mention of this in the Truma manual, but its clearly labled Truma. Is located in under one of the front louge seats some distance from my truma 6.

Its got me completely stumped - I presume the auf / zu is on / off, but there is just a pull string so not sure how you could 'flip it'.

I think it's open/closed actually but still don't know what it is. Do you have blown air heating and is it for shutting part of it off?

Open / closed - that would make more sense - ie it pulls some flap somewhere.. if you pull the string and hold it in the grips it would hold the flap open..

Problem is the string disappears into the depths of the vehicle but at least it narrows down the options.. somewhere it will allow hot air through...

As s guess it opens a flap that is weighted in the closed position.
Looks like the chord is pulled into the slot to keep in position.

Or it's to open your grey waste tank on the move :D

I had a motorhome which had this to direct the hot air to the cab (which could be closed off from the rest of the hab area). However, I think they can also be fitted to allow fresh air into the system when using as a cold air blower in summer.

There was a post on here about this the other day, it allows you to divert your blown air heat into your double floor space.
