what's the furthest you have been in your MH

Our Southwestern USA road trip encompassed All of Arizona, some Utah, Some Nevada, some California, some New Mexico (let’s cook) 😎over a three month period, some 5000 miles plus. A wonderful experience curtailed by the onset of covid when we had to retreat back to Blighty. This trip was made during part of January February March and some of April 2020.

Wow, that is just stunning..... If I were there I would still be looking at that now. amazing trip.

Our furtherist trip was in fact our first, we did 3100 miles in three weeks through France , mont blanc tunnel to Italy down to Pisa , back up into France, round into Spain , around the coast back across the middle and back into France, in an old ldv converted van bought unseen off eBay, no breakdown insurance, no sat nav just France passion and a paper map.
Didn't know anything about different gas bottles or anything , when we ran out we bought a french bottle and a regulator to suit, stuck it under the seats and bodged a hole through for the pipe.
No solar just one battery, no fancy regulator or b2b, we just winged it, and it was the best trip we have ever had and can't see us having any better.

Most distant point in the moho - Laredo (ES) not TX. Bit lightweight on distances. Trips have all been under 2000 miles so I'm a lightweight but in my defence I'm spitting distance from the ferry. Most distant holiday points E - St Petersburg, W - Charlotte NC, N - Svalbard, S - Dashur, Egypt although, having consulted GoogleEarth, it's pipped by Davenport FL.

4200 mile return trip down through France to Spain and Portugal, furthest point was probably Praia de Luz in Portugal.

4500 mile return trip to Paestum in Italy via Innsbruck on the way down and through France on the way back.
Same here,,BUSBY.

320 miles from home to Dover.

1030 from Calais to Rome so 2,700 round trip for us.
990 from Calais to Pula so 2,620 round trip
900 from Calais to Salou so 2,440 round trip.

In June we did Dover Dunkirk, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Swiss, Liechtenstein, back into Swiss, Italy, Monaco and back up through France to Dunkirk. 2,670 miles round trip for us in 2wks.

Still working so only get 2wks unfortunately.

You might ask why we went this far on our first trip.
Well we were used to holidaying on coach tours and flying and the like, so the idea was ,I had always wanted to go to Pisa since infant school so we got this van just for this trip and the wheels barely stopped till we got there and even then we only stopped for a couple of hours went to the tower ,turned round and started back, but then motorhoming sort of kicked in and we slowed down , not much but enough to see other places and the motorhome life, and we carried on from there, we did a few more trips after that in this van and really got into it , then made a big mistake and sold this van and bought a coachbuilt, just never the same fun so now we have gone full circle and back to a converted ambulance which we have done quite a few bigish trips in but nothing like that first one.

Total guess.. Sofia...... Via various places.. About 3000 mile round trip starting and finishing at Calais as requested in the OP :-)

We are 4000-4500 miles every time we head to Portugal and Spain. Mind you, over 900 of that is getting from home to Folkestone and back. That journey is a royal PITA.
I'd take the Newcastle/Ijunden or Hull/Rotterdam overnight ferry.
You sleep on the way over, arrive bright eyed in the morning, and you will be going around Paris within 5 hours,
Which is probably faster than the drive from Scotland and the tunnel.

I'd imagine not only is the time shorter, the cost could be lower as well if fuel, tolls, driving hours, camp fees, etc all taken into consideration

When I first bought the previous campervan we went as far as Venice on our first trip. Total mileage about 2,500 in 14 days which was crazy.

for us it was a holiday that ended up with us in Budapest.

But I am sure there is a few intrepid travelers on here.

Use Calais as the base please-

an idea of miles would be good and the more extreme the better.
Just the Pelleponese for 3 months and Denmark for us

Furthest north would be Flam in Norway and furthest south ish would be Izola in Slovenia, hopefully get further after next year and early retirement

A few of us Funsters are in Sinop Türkiye, on the Black Sea at the moment having travelled over 2000 miles . We will be heading South shortly and then in 10 days sailing across to Cyprus. The round trip is about 7000 miles I think. Great fun driving although there seemed to be a bit of a tarmac shortage today!

Nordkapp for us via the Lofoten islands then back through Finland stopped off at Santa’s home but didn’t seem the same in the blazing July sun, loved every minute of it went back 2 yrs later but didn’t go upto Nordkapp again, “been there seen that” as they say. Planning to go again next yr, if you discount the booze it’s not to expensive because you can off grid most of the time

Have been to the furthest :
N/Western point of Europe (Knorrcap Norway)
N/Eastern point of Europe (Kirkness Norway)
On a 6000mile 3 month round trip.
S/Western point of Europe (Cape st Vincent Portugal)
Southern Point of Europe (Sicily)

Waiting for the first NZ entry 😇😎😆
I realise this is not the sort of answer the OP was looking for but we bought our motorhome in Uxbridge, travelled about 5,000 miles around the UK for 6 months and then put it on a ship at Southampton Docks. Five weeks later we picked it up at Port of Auckland and drove it around the North Island before heading home to Nelson on the South Island.
About 15 years ago we travelled a figure of 8 around Australia for six months and clocked-up about 20,000kms.

From Tarifa to the North Cape. No idea how far that is but I think it's probably about as far as you can go in Europe.

Sicily via Germany, Austria, Dolomites, Tuscany, Amalfi coast. I think that was around 5000 miles.

Currently in Montenegro and considering Albania, Serbia (was thinking of Kosovo but I hear Serbian troops are on the border of Kosovo😲)

So, not sure how big this trip will turn out to be.
