Reading another thread reminded me of this..

Furthest south we have driven is proly 36d north
Once to the bottom of Greece and a good few times to the southern end of Spain
It kinda reminds me of just how big the world really is ..

The furthest south we have driven to is Estapona in Spain and Sorrento in Italy.
Both memorable trips with Funster friends.

Cape town. I haven't driven there but I did set the satnav just to see if it would give me a route. It did......
Last November I set mine from Cape Town, heading south to Agulhas and it worked fine and you can't go much further south than Agulhas, other that Tristan DC. It's the numbers that look wonky down there.

I took mine to Israel once. It picked up the satellites fine - only problem was the screen was blank. Didn't have the map did I? At the time I wasn't sure you could get maps for Israel but I gather you can now. So despite their appearance in the Eurovision song contest, having the "full Europe" map set on your satnav may not be sufficient if going to Israel. :)

This weekend we're driving our motorhome (as shown in avatar) from our home at 35.9667° S, 145.6500° E to a motorhome get together at 37.3161° S, 145.7317° E. Sat nav gives us a few options for route.

One of the motorhomes (and driver & co-driver) attending this weekend has made an epic return trip to UK covering 56,000 km all under sat nav guidance. For some statistics check out http://epicycles.com/Truck Blog/asia stats/asia stats.htm

Southern Morocco in the van but used the sat nav in South Africa earlier this year and in Brisbane area of
Oz in 2007.

No matter the lat or long, we have had some great travels.

Alicante now then heading north in 2 weeks.

Every road is a new adventure.

We usually head north, so it's probably Taunton as I'm off to Eddie VanBitz later today.
