I did this for the first time this last year.We sold two Motorhomes on Motorhome Depot very quickly. They send their local agent out and they go through everything, taking up to 100 photos. They list everything and charge a fixed fee (around £2000). They give you advice on price but the final figure is down to you. They also arrange finance for the buyer etc. which can be a big help when selling expensive vans. They sometimes buy themselves for cash. The MH stays with you and they handle all the sales enquiries and usually take a deposit from the buyer before coming to view.
I just bought my motorhome last month but I was looking since last summer. Have you put on lots of good photos? The worst thing I saw with private sellers was poor quality photos (sideways, didn't show all the internal layout). Good luck with the sale!have just put it on auto trader. thanks for everyone's help
