What video edit software ? (1 Viewer)

I have tried several highly rated editors and not one could do a simple cut and shut job very well ( to say the least ! )
What would the panel recommend ?

This is for use on a Windows based pc, not apple or andoid

I use Camtasia a lot. It started life just as a way to record your screen, but it works with any video and the editor just got better and better with every release, so While its the best screen recording software its now a great regular editor too.

Powerdirector 16 for Windows 10. Only costs about £50. I'm preparing to install it this week because I've had enough of Premier Elements. It's just too hard to do Colour-grading on Elements.
