Morning people,

Apologies mods didn’t know the best place to post

Had to reconnect a waste pipe that was leaking under the shower and have now got the job of sealing around the 4 sides of the tray.

Advice on the best sealant to use. I presume a good bathroom grade would be ok ?

Thats what I used but others might know better. I tried to give it a generous bead to reduce the chance of any movement causing leaks

I like CT1 that's always worked for me

Think I used soudal when I resealed my shower tray the other month

Brilliant Ian, could you give us a quote for that rustic look in our motorhome loo? ::bigsmile:
sounds a great idea, then when you drop the soap and bend over your bum wont stick to the wall like a giant suction cup :roflmto:

Puraflex is high modulus therefore structurally stronger than silicone, & in my experience sticks to plastics better than silicone, silicone polishes of to a better finish though and is antibacterial if you get a good quality one, don't know how puraflex stands up to mould growth. Sand and cement will crack under vibration and may put you overweight and make your back end sag which can also be painful.
