I have a 2017 Fiat 2.3 multijet without stop/start so AGM battery not needed. Would a a basic battery be OK or should I go for the efb variety?

Try here Tia.
Put your reg in and it will give you a selection of batteries available for your vehicle at a very good price delivered next day.

tayna.co.uk

I have no connections with this company apart from being a satisfied customer.

I already have an good buying relationship with Tayna. The problem is that they offer all three types of battery and ICD like to know what type of battery is the best bang for buck. For instance is an efb worth paying extra for.

Oh and TIA = thanks in advance.

You said you don't need a EFB because you don't have stop/start
I would replace what's fitted as cheap as possible from the battery web dealers --Tayna maybe.

I found this --

Thanks but I said I don't need AGM. The question remains whether efb is worth the extra cost over a basic flooded battery.

Please keep the answers coming.

Had a 2011 Range Rover Sport which wasn’t Stop Start.
When I had to change the Battery I was advised to get an efb as a replacement which I did. Think it was about £50 more at the time.
