Autotrail Apache 700
Exp
Since October 2019
Hi I have recently purchased a 2015 Autotrail Apache 700 and need to get a tv for it. I’m looking at the 19.5” Cello traveler tv with dvd built in. I’m on a budget can anyone recommend the Cello or anything else similar? Thanks in advance

hi welcome. i would guess in the price range the Cello is as good as most. some have viewing angle issues and the inevitable poor sound quality.
i found the Cello we used to have was quite poor sound quality and needed a small sound bar fitted to be acceptable.
but that was a few years past they may have sorted that now.

Hi and welcome Slimbo,
We have the Cello 19 inch only cost £85 (Ebay) brand new and had to buy a separate 12v power supply £14 on Amazon.
Picture & Sound are ok and we connect our Firestick to watch Netflix, Itv Hub BBC Iplayer etc.
Not a bad TV for the money.

I have a FINLUX,,really rate it.BUSBY.

I got mine from Aldi and its really good. I think there's a suitable TV on offer this week at lidl

Cello Traveller's are good had a 19" in our last van fitted a 22" in current van I always run the sound through my head unit.
Don't be tempted by the cheaper Cello's viewing angle is poor compared to the Traveller.

We have a Cello. 15". a hangover from the last Caravan. It`s OK but some viewing angles can cause issues, sound was`nt actually that bad. One problem is I would struggle to get anything over 18" into the space without a lot of "modification".

Some years ago I would have said Avtex but their after sales service is awful

I bought an Avtex and it was only 8 months old and couldn't pick up French TV which I particularly wanted and they just weren't interested, not even saying whether I could get a set top box when they brought in full HD. They were very unhelpful and ar a show a few weeks later, the guy just shrugged his shoulders and they knew it was going to be obsolete in France long before I bought the TV.. Anyway, I could buy a TV for the bathroom, habitation and cab for one of their sets

I think I will go for the cello, as most reviews on amazon etc all say the small TVs have poor sound (due to there size) I’m sure the kids will put up with it as it’s really for them!

i had an issue with a HDMI port on a TV 2 1/2 yrs old they sent a courier with packaging and labels to collect next day and had it back sorted by return.

previously had an issue with an intermittent remote, phoned them had new one next day.

as i said earlier. they are expensive and we say as we find.

Perhaps you got someone who gave a damn. Certainly my experience was dire.

Curry’s etc don’t sell a tv small enough for me

The 700 used to have a TV built in, slots up behind a cupboard on my 2012 model. A catch release to drop it down. Unless they have changed the design or someone has taken it out. Double check. (y)

Have the slot and bracket..no tv.

Have the slot and bracket..no tv.

Understand.
Be careful on what you buy if you want it to fit in sane place due to size. Original would have been an Avtex. Autotrail should be able to tell you exact model .
