They cannot enforce the "spare wheel" requirement if the vehicle does not come with one. As long as you have a way to repair the flat ( I know if the tyre is destroyed that hard! ) but ALL new cars that only have 4 wheels fitted and no spare come with the dreaded gunk and that is all the police if they check will want to see. I will ask local police over the weekend what they do?The list / article is from Feb 2015. A year out of date.
New rules apply about the spare wheel situation as so many cars now have no spares. N332 themselves have in the past posted the new rules.

No one is asking you to quote "on my Rimor take the spare off....will I, NOPE!" all anyone is pointing out is (a) it's out of date (b) DOES not refer to a MH it is about a CAR (c) I and others above live in Spain and know ( NOTE: I did not say understand all the road rules ) and therefore be careful what you read and post as the N332 site has a habit of reposting old stuff. As I stated in my post I will ask local policeman over the weekend. It is not that I disagree with ANY of the posts but, I posted this as it was posted by the N332 Themselves this morning (Saturday). I was more interested in the "No second pair of glasses" than anything else, although I will still carry them as to me it makes sense.
The 2 triangles I would have thought would make very good sense, the spare wheel would be a good idea as well (not that I would change it....the breakdown man would).
I sometimes think that if the police in Spain say you have to carry something, we have a line of posts saying, no you don`t, even if it just might be a very good idea, think about it, does it REALLY make any difference if it is for a car, or a MH, it a vehicle. And yes I know that lots of vehicles do not have spares these days but that (IMO) does not make it a good idea, that as usual is more for the vehicle manufactures benefit than the owner. I could, on my Rimor take the spare off....will I, NOPE!

Be aware that it is 1 x reflective vest per person in the vehicle, so that's at least 4 to be carried.
If your own your own 1 x vest, if your have a friend 2 x vest, if your have 3 friends 4 x vests. So simple answer carry four, they are as cheap as chips.1 vest per person in the vehicle so at least 4 to be carried - does this mean 1 vest per person who are in the vehicle at the time (I.e driver plus passenger = 2 vests) or do you mean that if you have 4 travelling seats, at least 4 to be carried because your vehicle can take up yo 4 people?
Bit confused.

There are those who worry themselves sick in case they are not conforming to every single rule and regulation to the letter, and then there are those who don't!
Still haven't fastened that red and white stripey square thingy on my bike rack...
Will anyone visit me when I am locked up?

It's interesting better remove mine then asap.I'll tell you what you cannot legally have on a Spanish registered Mh & that is reflective tape on the backs of your exterior mirrors. I got a pull & sharp intake of breath & a "Ā” Noooooooooooo es ilegal ! " last week when I Itv'd the MH.

If you want a good read then here is what you need to know - old but still active directive:
http://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/spanish-laws-on-motorhomes-english-version.12807/
Then you have the N332 motorhome page by Royal Decree 2822/of December 23 1998

Motorhomes have to carry equipment in accordance with Annex XII of the Reglamento General de VehĆculo, as follows: A set of light bulbs and indispensable tools for changing the bulbs, two portable warning triangles, a spare wheel or temporary wheel and the tools to change wheels or alternative system for changing them, providing sufficient guarantees for vehicle mobility.
- EQUIPMENT
This is the "gunk" supplied by the MH seller and is standard on many MH now. Not much good if the tyre is a blow out, I know.

Tyres and good tyre pressures on a motorhome are critical, you can buy a gauge for ā¬5 and check the pressures at the petrol station yourself! They'll have to fine me then! Although I do about ALL on my car, I will certainly not change a wheel on my motorhome (I never check the pressure myself either, too many machines won't work properly and instead of getting a good wheel to travel , you find yourself with a flat one!!), nor will I change a bulb!
I will call insurance , just as I did in France and get one of their huge lorries to come and fix the problem! The nuts are usually so tight , you can't remove them anyway, so why bother! And if they (guardia civil) don't understand, I will give them the tools and let them try.... Ahaaa a good laugh in perspective!

How can a tyre seller specialist do the job when you are supposed to check the pressure of your tyres every week ?Oh I do know this ..... but you see I'm a bit of a cheeky moo and if I do it myself..... who am I going to sue if anything happens? While if it's a tyres' seller and therefore a specialist who does the job...... (Just understand I do not trust myself on this specific matter!)
But I thought yours past its test? It's interesting better remove mine then asap.
