We are booked for the Malvern and booked on Shell Island on Sept 1st

Looking for suggestions of places to go for the 9 or 10 days in-between.

I am not quite 100% and find walking more than about 1/2 mile somewhat difficult, so please keep that in mind :)

Anywhere away from the coast because the world and his wife all go there in August. We like city breaks at that time.

Not long enough!
You could drive through Wales stopping anywhere that looks interesting.
You can also stop at Hereford rugby club at £5 pppn. It's on the edge of the river.
Perhaps a mini fun meet???

Tewkesbury Caravan Club site is right in the town - lots of nice shops, pubs, restaurants and a great Wetherspoon's too :)

Someone told me the Abbey is worth a visit, is that right? (y)

Camping Caravaning now 5'ering 49 years
Why not leave a few days earlier and come to Retrofestival - lots to do and see for 4 days - then bimble down to Bath lots of sightseeing for a few days before Malvern show then a few miles to Tewksbury - lovely riverside strolls the town and the abbey for the history head then towards Cardiff dropping into Gloucester - shopping, history, vine yards, historic docks. If you are lucky there may be a tall ship or two about. Then continue south stopping off at Tintern Abbey for a wander and a cream tea. Down to Chepstow for the views and the Castle arriving at Cardiff - lots again to look at, castles, Dr Who, Museums, Living museums , lots of gardens and botanical gardens - you could then head up the Rhondda Valley. If you are feeling mad you could stop off at Pen-y-Fan and go training with the SAS on the mountain !! heading on back up the valley wonderful views and little villages into Brecon then after a look around head for Shewsbury or Welshpool
