Hi.
Looking at getting a TV for the MH.
Initially just to show Dvds then eventually a sat dish.
All the Pacific models appear the same so wondering what people fitted.
I measured quickly when I returned the MH to storage and am just short of a 19in avtex tv, not sure how accurate a measurement it was.
So does anyone have a TV to give me some idea?

I made a cardboard template that was the size of the TV to check it would fit. (Cello Traveller II which I am very pleased with)

Currently finishing up a 11 week trip and used it for 40 minutes so glad we didn't shell out for an expensive but of kit!

Curry's 16 inch with free view. Not expensive and plays DVDS no bother. Like previous answer, don't use it a lot, but adequate.

Was wanting a 19ins Avtex on the wall mounted tv bracket on the wall by the door.
The latest one is 449mm wide.
Just not sure if it's too wide between the bracket and wall.
Will have to go tomorrow and re-measure to see if there is room.

We have a 24" Avtex fitted by the hab door. It sits at an angle but it's the largest one you can fit.

If you go too small then you'll need a telescope just to see the screen from the seats.

You have a 740 don't you.
Is it ok at an angle, Doesn't get in the way?
Any chance of a picture of it?
As I said will have to go to the storage and have another look tomorrow.

Here we go (y)

Shots from the side and with a bit of padding stuffed in to help protect from shakes and rattles.

The 3rd shot shows the TV flushed and not encroaching on the hab door entrance.

I've also taken a shot from the passenger seat to show what a 24" screen is like from that distance. I would strain my eyes with a 19-inch.

All the best,

Andrew

Just remember, that the size of a television screen is measured diagonally from corner to corner

So a modern 19 inch screen would measure approximately 16inches wide & 9 inches high (plus the size if the surround)

Thanks Andrew for the pictures, I have just been to the storage and see that the screen will easily fit, think I will go for the 21ins one.
Initially using it for dvds then later get a sat dish and another tv for the bedroom.
