What map for trip to Denmark (1 Viewer)

We are planning a trip to Denmark through Holland and Top of Germany but we are having difficulty finding a road atlas with enough detail. Most atlas' are 1:1,000,000. We are looking for around 1:500,000 which shows smaller roads and more detail.

The Michelin Road Atlas Europe says 1:500,000 but except for some areas is not. We prefer not to use the folding maps because you need so many which costs and they are difficult to use in a cab space.

Any suggestions please?

Do you need a map at all?
We traveled through Denmark, Sweden and Norway without a paper map - preferring instead to use Google Maps and a Garmin Sat Nav.

Can't remember the last time I used a 'old fashioned' map.

Just program your satnav with length and width details of your mh.
It will find the very small roads automatically..

We are heading that way this year and we like to have a map and so I have bought this one.

Thanks Jenben and Minxy, I think that is the way to go.

I had been hoping to find a road atlas that covered several countries (ie northern Europe) which would do it but alas not.
