Hymer B504 RHD on a Fiat 2.3 130 2007, on the floor inbetween the driver and passenger seats is a small removable panel (similar to the battery panel but much smaller) under the cover is another round plastic cover. What lurks beneath please?

It's for access to the fuel tank sender unit that's connected to the fuel gauge

Most likely the combined fuel gauge sender & pump.
