I did contemplate a blow by blow, bolt by bolt @Techno account but,The owner wanted it back for August
So you'l have to settle for the 3 shot short version
Although I heard he's documenting the full job this summer as part of his bi annual service.

Heater Matrix Fun.
It lives in the slot circled and of course faces the metal bulkhead.
It has a plastic plate in the bulkhead to allow the pipes through if thay made the plate 4"wider and 1" deeper the Matrix would pass through too, making it a two screw and two pipe clip removal affair

How many bits did you have left over after reassembly?
That was a talking point in our house when my old fella was alive, he used to love tinkering with watches, taking them apart an fixing then putting it all back together.... He always everytime had some parts over afterwards, funny thing was they still worked :LOL::LOL:

My daughters Corsa looked like that when I tried to replace a broken plastic rod which connected the heater control knob to the heater itself. In days gone by you just put your head under the dashboard, fumbled about in the dark (always fun!) and the job was done! Progress???
