What is this warning light? I didn't know what it was. Thanks to all those kind people that answered; now I do, and I'm very grateful. - Sorted

We have an orange warning light which has come on Fiat Ducato 2.3 automatic 2014 model, it is the one below trip and above MPG, Can't see any lights out,
not shown, that I can find in the fiat manuals or on line. Anyone here know what it is. Thanks in advance

So my guess is you just pressed it and you have done 0 miles since you pressed it and 12507 miles since new

And it will tell you what MPG you are getting since you pressed it. Normally pressed at a petrol station or start of a tour

At first, it looks like a sort of timer? Like is monitoring a servicing item? But is a round wheel, so could be associated with brake pads sensor, tyre pressure, hill assist, or even power steering.

It could be, but would it be green if active?

Lights on.
Very funny all those who suggested lights on, might have realised that with that being prominent, despite the description, that I would get the usual daft answers. Did work out what that meant about 50 years ago. ;)
Think i was toggling between MPG etc last time I was out in it, so that may well be the answer I am a right knob fiddler.
Lenny HB all i could think of was it was a tellytubbies head
Will need to take a trip to storage to play, and because I left the milk in the fridge yeugh

Could it be a "Time for Service" reminder?
I am really irritated by this as I have seen it before on my previous Fiat and alzheimer's has kicked in.

I think the major clue is the word "Trip"

And i might have got a technical question right !!!!

What do you expect, shows us a photo of a green light and talks about an orange light.
Now if that's not enough to confuse us silly old sods on here I don't what is.

Doubt it is this Alan it was serviced just before we got it.

Exterior light fault??
checked all lights, working ok.

However, we were low on fuel and filled up, so may well be it needs to be reset after filling, will go and have a play tomorrow.

Edited to add, would have cropped the green light if I knew how to. Can't believe anyone would think I/we didn't know that green symbol meant the lights were on though.

I think that you can also choose from within that menu whether you want to have your visual reading as MPG or litres per 100 kilometres and then you get to choose what visual display you want when driving so you might be able to view that menu or something like how many miles left til you need to fill up.
I m not sure in its current format it will change (MPG) until you have travelled sufficient milage for it to give a reading.
Dont get excited when it starts reading 73mpg at the start. It soon goes down to a regular level.
I play about with mine when doing long journeys on motorways and turn the bleeding thing off when climbing mountains for a few days.

Try looking in the motor vehicle manual. We also got that light up and took ages to find the page describing it. Have not got the manual in front of me, but found the picture in the manual describing dash lights. Very obvious afterwoods, to do with the trip computer speed and only to indicate to you that the device was switched on. Reset by pressing the stalk button on the right of the steering column.

OK Sue start panicking!
It's not a robot it's an alien icon!
Check underneath as there may be an illegal one hingin' on!:whistle2:
