What Is This 'Cover' For?

Hi
Does anyone know what this 'cover' is for, please? It's at the top of the wall in the kitchen. The other side of the wall is inside the cupboard that houses the TV, with nothing corresponding to the 'cover'. It feels like it could pull off but I'm scared to pull it too hard in case I break something!! Any ideas, please?

Well, who'd have thought it? This 'cover' looking thing turns out to be a magnet!!! Why you would want a magnet high up on the kitchen wall, I have no idea. But, there you go..... I guess it might come in useful for something
