Cadac for us to. We have the caddie chef and use it for BBQ, breakfasts, stir frys, curries, chillies in the skottle dish, pancakes, roast dinners and I've even cooked biscuits and nan breads. Love it and use it all the time.

We had a Cadac Carri Chef but have now changed to a paella burner which is much lighter and we can use the Cadac reversible grill on it as it's a similar sized burner.

Have tried just about all of them but the Cadac Safari Chef is the best by leaps and bounds!

If your in Spain, these Paella burner legs make excellent legs for Cadac, about 20 euro from Chinese shops...everywhere!

On the link you posted, the Weber site!

so pleased with mine.. I hadn't read these reviews..

they have changed the cooking grill with the new model.. looks like pressed steel.. wasn't aware of that..

I've had mine for donkeys years and no problems.. the cooking grill in mine is heavy gauge steel rods that will never burn out

that's a retro grade step :(

in saying that, it comes with a 10year warranty

there may be some of the old style still in the shops..

if you look here you will see what I mean..

These are of interest to us - do these simply slide over the existing legs ?

They do yes, to be fair they are just the metal slats from a camping table but a perfect fit, I did end it putting some additional screws in where the original legs attached to the bbq as they are just brazed on.

except we purchased the one from Lidl and found it to be a perfect match or copy.

The bits were interchangeable, mind you if ever you tasted anything Keith @Pikeman has cooked you'd take heed of his suggestion as he knows his onions so to speak.
