What is the good price for full vehicle history check ?

I'm trying to buy a BMW x3 from my friend? I believe him but still, have some technical doubts. Can anyone suggest a good vehicle inspection, service provider?
I'm really confused about this ! which data provider should I choose for a vehicle history check and do prices vary between them. Suggestions, please!

If you use and trust a good independent garage ask them to check it over and to give special attention to any areas you are worried about. I would think an hours labour would cover it.

How old is it?

If old then make sure the engine sounds smooth, the gear box likewise, the suspension isn't knocking, no milk in rad / oil
No oil leaks etc.

General condition of bodywork etc.

The AA will do physical checks. Reasonable price I believe.

Got to ask. The BMW x3 is a car ? If so, why open an account on a motorhome site to ask? I might be missing something - that's not unusual

I always use vcheck

The guy that created is was always very active on the babybmw forum back in the days I had a bmw. Some of the photos his site managed to find with regards previous accident damage was astounding. For a few pounds it’s worth it for peace of mind

Just had a look at the example report on this site ,very comprehensive and the 3 x full check bundle is £24 ( if i read it right).Thats a great price i think.
Great link as i will be looking for a vehicle when i get back home from Spain in about 4 weeks .
