Hiya all, We are on our way to Spain in March. Apart from vehicle insurance and personal possesions insurance, what else do we need. We have the new medical insurance cards ( the old e111 certs) . Do we need anything else . Any advice would help. Regards Petesam.

Hi petesam
I always think its best to extra travel sickness and injury insurance as well as the E cards as these only cover the very basic treatment

I'm in agreement with Geo

Link Removed are great for searching best buys - not just insurance either.

Just read another post by Don whereby he states a freind of his had to pay £12000 to fly injured relative home by air ambulance, he only had the EU card, this would be coverd by extra travel insurance
you never know whats around the corner

Be careful what is and isn't covered by your travel/holiday insurance.

A young work colleague of mine had to be medevac'd from Greece at a cost of £17,000 because the cause of his broken leg was riding - well actually it was due to falling off - a quad bike (which wasn't covered...)
