What I Did Today - Mounted Microwave (1 Viewer)

Finally had some decent weather, so got busy mounting the microwave. I know it cost me a storage cupboard but so much easier than finding somewhere safe and secure for it when travelling. It is secured with a bracket on left rear and the clip on the right came from the table storage that is not used. Now just have to add a power supply for it into the cupboard next to it.

I would core-cut a couple of 3" holes into the cupboard on the right.....One at bottom of divider wall and one at top to assist air flow.

It side vents into the cupboard on the left. So if I use it for any length of time, I will just open the cupboard door. But your advice is much appreciated.

Looking again, maybe just the top as there's a big enough gap under the microwave.

Is it a fancy fandangled 12v one or a nordinary 240v

Weather? ... I hate the bloody cold and wet and using the power saw for cutting the shelf and shelf supports makes a mess in the motorhome, so have to do it outside

It's 240v and 600 watt but a great little microwave.

I did just the opposite on our previous Swift Bolero, never used the M/W , too heavy, in the wrong place and too high, so I removed it and gained extra storage space and a spare 240v socket as well, put it all back to standard before we sold it though.
