I'm an oldbie MH number 10
It's been quite a while since we had a hobby update and with so many new members I thought it would be worth re visiting.

So what floats your boat? what keeps you out of trouble? Or gets you in to trouble :winky:

Having now got truly back in to extreme running I would list mine like so--

Running,
Football (watching)
sunny day fishing,
Skiing
Body Boarding,
Walking

My less good ones
Curry tasting
Whiskey tasting
Computer games.

Would like to try--

Photography
freestyle climbing
Kite making
Model building

Have previously tried
Car racing (grass track)
Motorcycle racing
Kayaking
Dancing :Blush::Blush:

So what's yours called

Since 2009 with motorhomes several caravans then tents before that.
Well our joint hobbies are the the usual family things involved with the kids dogs and MH , like long walks , bike riding , body-boarding ( only in summer for me !!) , swimming , and visiting loads of places in the motorhome.

I also do either Yoga , Pilate's , or Pilate's on the ball class , Monday to Friday for an hour each day at the gym. I joined Bannatines few months ago after my last bad back episode ,and its done wonders for me. I dont even take ibuprofen now, yet alone all the very strong stuff i was on.
The physio and consultant had been telling me for years to do it. I just never got round to it.

Ralph is also into gadgets , aeroplanes and amateur radio , scanners and anything with a big ariel :ROFLMAO:
Hes not into any sport , thats why i married him:winky:

We have both also started going out together for nice meals and to the cinema just the 2 of us:Blush:.
Sounds daft , but weve never really had baby sitters, except for special occasions , so we've always done everything with the kids.

Now the kids are sensible and trustworthy enough to leave in alone the odd evening , theres no stopping us.
If we dont go away for the weekend , they meet up with their pals Saturday /Sunday daytime , and we are out on the evening .
Its great.
Jacobs often heard saying " What time do you call this ? You said you wouldn't be late !!":ROFLMAO:
We have talked about doing salsa dancing classes , as we would both love to be able to do it. But we haven't got round to it yet , maybe in the New Year.
Infact it would be a good Xmas pressie for my mum and dad to get us. She was asking what we wanted this morning.

7 Years after 5 years with caravan.
In no particular order (oops being watching Strictly - again ::bigsmile:)

Reading, listening to music, charging around the world (a lot of it in the MH), shooting (air rifle) Field Target (outdoors) and LSR (indoors), walking, all sorts of travelling, doing mindless stuff on the computer (and some not so mindless like MHFun)

Used to SCUBA but haven't done it for quite a few years (must start again).

Wondered how you all managed to fit so much in but then I did my list:

Travel in general, particularly getting to the Faroes which is becoming a challenge.
Motorhome travel and DIY additions.
The occasional cruise in the right company.
Fly fishing and sea fishing (boat) in the Faroes.
Premiership football, Manchester United season ticket holder.
Watching England Test cricket on tv and following the misfortunes of Surrey CCC
Theatre in London (rarely) and local theatre for ‘60’s gigs and comedy.
Walking the dog.
Internet surfing.
Growing easy fruit and veg, but hate gardening.
Tree felling and log splitting for the woodburner which keeps us in fuel.
DIY in the Faroes since we half inherited/half bought the house.
DIY at home when I have to.
Reading (fiction mainly but the occasional autobiog).
Drinking German wine.
Cooking and baking occasionally.
Wondering if I’ll ever have the room and time to get the OO gauge set up.
Continuing Mother’s collection of Midsomer, Frost, Morse, Taggart, New Tricks, Marple et al from tv onto DVD edited of adverts.
Following MHF which is taking too much time but is addictive.

Z is the smallest scale in the railway model line.. mostly German made (Marklin) or American made (MTL or AZL) cost a fortune these days to buy.. bit like an RV.. but cheaper to run ..unlike an RV.
