Motorbikes, initially on road, then off road for decades. Now kayaking as it's a bit gentler on my chassis as stuff just doesn't heal as quickly these days. I was late to kayaking, but have progressed through to grade 4 white water stuff, but have peaked at that level as time has taken it's toll and just remaining at that level takes all my effort now.
I sometimes take out groups of youngsters instructing them in kayaking basics, their usual question is " do you know any tricks"
To which my standard response is, " yes, I woke up this morning " .
