The cap that goes over the windscreen wiper arm nut decided to part company somewhere in Germany.
As I was just down the road from Morelo I went to see if I could purchase a new pair but not expecting them to have any as it’s an Iveco part, what where the chances of the girl coming back with a pair and saying no charge as it’s under warranty😁😁
Call that a result👍
I thought girls usually had a pair 😊

I did a quick search and was amazed to find that this "sister" thread didn't already exist. So, who's going to start the ball rolling?:D

I think I’m on a streak of breaking things on other folks vans. Firstly my memory bank fell from Alans overhead locker and made a small hole in his table 😭 then later in the day I was leaving our friends van and the wind somehow bashed the door bin into me and it broke🥲.

I’m hoping nothing else breaks the rest of our trip.

Took the toilet cassette home to give it a deep clean. (Recently purchased 9-yr-old van). Shouldn’t have!! I dislocated something in the mechanism whilst trying to open the top. Got it all (mostly) clean and was about to tackle re-assembly but the dislocated piece was in the basin my wife chucked down the downstairs loo - - which is a Sanifo! Now waiting for an engineer to dismantle the grinder part and see what damage has been caused to which bit. Maybe should have just bought a new cassette… 😫

Fresh water tank drain plug snapped off whilst in place.

Water pumped out through kitchen tap.

New plug ordered but had to guess size.

As is I can still use the van.

If a remove the remainder of the plug and I've ordered the wrong size replacement I'll be grounded.

So working around it for now.

I have a removable note on the dash about the EHU when i remember!

I have a drive off routine.

First Parade, check oil and water.
Walk around the van, are the tyres round at the bottom?
Walk around again, is the TV Aerial Mast dow?.
Walk around again, windows and vents closed?
One final walk around for a general check of the external lockers?

Hopefully I would notice the EHU?

The specific EHU check is;

I'm a solo traveller and the EHU cable and water hose live in the passenger footwell!

The glass lid on our 2 burner hob.
Seems it didn't like being closed with the burner still on.
Carnage isn't the word, "bomb in a toughend glass factory" is more like it.

Discression prevents me from laying the blame with anyone in particular, but it wasn't me, for once.

I also have a drive off routine.
Get in, drive off, stop just after the first roundabout and return everything back to where it belongs and shut doors, catches, fridge etc etc.

You lot are so boring with your drive away routines. Anybody can do them stationary. We set off I then shout whilst driving all the things that may or may not need to be done, whilst the wife is running round at the back trying to pick the correct order to check/sort depending on importance/value.
It’s like some 80s game show. I only do it to entertain her.

Now there’s a term we can relate too, along with halt parade and last parade.

You should have seen SWMBO when I briefed her on first parading the lawn mower 🙄😇🤗
