dragging won't do it john click on the full page box (next to the X at the top right of screen) and then just maybe the system will remember it

Similar things happen randomly on my machine. No idea why and I was in IT for over 30 years - but never been bothered enough to investigate

Anyhow, isn't it an advantage for a Scarborough window to be as small as possible? :roflmto:

Some rather irritating web pages have a bit of script in them that forces a smaller window size and sometimes, especially with IE, this can reset your default window size.

If you get this problem again, this should fix it:

1. Close all IE windows apart from one.
2. Type "javascript:moveTo(0,0);resizeT*o(XXX,XXX)" into the address bar (without the quotes) and hit the Enter key. in place of the "XXX,XXX" you should put the window size you want; e.g. "800,600".
3. Hold down the CTRL key and close the window.

All new windows opened should subsequently be at the right size.
