It only took the lad half a day.

And he baled it ....

Ok, canna help with the cutting but can for future times
Booze is cheap enough where you are.

As soon as it is at a height you want, does the whole place with cheap wine or similar. Cannot remember the formula of litres per square metre but a good rule is DOUBLE what ever you think will be enough.

Next time it grows it will already be half cut !

Watching the T de F on TV on the second day, when they started in Cambridge. The commentator mentioned he'd had a wander round the outside of one of the colleges and he overheard an American asking the Bursar how on earth they got the lawns so fantastically level?

Bursar replied that you just dig it over then hoe and 'riddle' to get the stones out, when you've finished you rake it over and cast handfuls of grass seed. After it germinates and had it's first few cuts, you then just roll it for about 250 years ...

Slowly... no need to rush these things.

See, it was worth cutting the grass. There was a MH hiding in it. If you come across human bones just let the grass there grow again. It could become a wildlife corner.

May I be the first to complement you on your choice of tablecloth JJ. That reminds me, I must change my sheet of newspaper.

I like the look of the beer, but the food.....

Excuse me Mr Solicitor Man... that Sky Bleu delight was created, prepared and cooked by me from fresh ingredients sourced locally.

It was delicious, nutritious and highly affordable.

I take it you are quite content with the number of Christmas Cards you get each year?

Certainly Chris...

It is what's known as "JJ Left Over Special" with fresh mince and onions folded into the carrots, green beans and potatoes to flesh it out a little.

As with my motor homes, I am not in the least bit interested in what it looks like!

The rufty, tufty QMJ over grown grass wears through a German Steel Strimmer Blade...

Now... if I can get out of this very comfortable chair (recliner), I will fit the new blade and back to the task...

Apparently this beautiful plant is...

Deadly Nightshade...

One of the most toxic plants in Western Europe.

Can this be true?

Loads of it here!

I think that is digitalis (foxglove) JJ - poisonous with medicinal uses
Belladonna (deadly night shade) has flowers similar to those of a potato plant - also poisonous with medicinal uses

:)
