What fuse should I use? (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

The fuse in my adaptor just blew. I also noticed the earth wire had come out which i put back. I removed the 13amp fuse and replaced it with a lower amp fuse as that's all i had and it's working fine for now.

However, my question is are all these units standard fit with a 13amp fuse and should i replace with another 13amp fuse?

Yes if you want maximum amps ay any time.
Probably the earth wire coming out touched the live & blew the fuse ?

I would've have thought they all come with 13amp as standard. You should be fine with a lower rated fuse until you turn something on that needs more power than the fuse you've put in and it will blow. Best to put a 13 back in when you get a chance.
