Van conversion
Hi,
Iv been looking into ways of covering the many windows in our minibus conversion and saw these magnetic blackout blinds on a youtube video. (They are 5 mins into the video)

I was quite taken with them until I saw the price...but being new to campervan...ing, maybe I should see them as an investment?
Im sure there are similar products here in the UK....just haven't come across them.

The snag with internal window coverings is, they cause condensation on the inside window surface if the inside of the van is warmer than the outside of the glass.

Saw some cars in France the other day with what looked like black cloth replacing the rear door windows. Suppose it's to let air in but not the sun.

How much!!!!

Anyone who's handy with a sewing machine could make some for a fraction of that price ... for the cab you can already get ready made ones from Taylormade, Silver Screens, Paragon etc and also pads for rear door windows too, size windows would need to be made to fit the size you have but nothing difficult about it. I used some old internal windscreen covers to make pads for my roof vents and rear windows for a previous camper.
