There are other threads on here about how our motorhomes got their names but here goes again.

Ours is “Fred 7”.

Fred, because when we bought our first one we reckoned our carpets would be “fredbare” by the time we had paid for it. Our current motorhome is our seventh one, hence the number.

The first motorroam was called Liberté Too *
The second motorroam was called Liberté Too Two *
Friends of ours had Bertie-Burstner so our current motorroam is called Hattie-Hymer after our granddaughter.

* In polite society, regularly called other things ...

Cwtch..because it's Welsh for a cuddle or a hug..it also means a small place for precious things.
I knew my other half would not give an inanimate object a name..but he is a Welsh speaker and he has been persuaded.

The missus called our first van "Autoshed' because it was built to the same quality standard as our 200-quid B&Q wooden shed.

"Hamish"
Im from liverpool but now live in glasgow, but its not as simple as that.
Ive lived here now 33 years, and i love scotland. Not far from my home the village of callender stands between lochs and glens.
Just outside callender was the first time i set eyes on "Hamish".
He stood in the field beside the woollenmill of kilmahog, rusty coloured with massive horns,
Fearsome to see ,funny face and the nature of a pussycat.hamish was a highland cow.
I say was because he sadly passed away aged 23 years, they normaly live till 13 so the boy did well
If you google him he had his own facebook page lol.
When hamish died it hit the national press and locals , tourist alike mourned his loss myself included i often stopped and had a chat much to the amusement of the coachtours taking selfies
Hamishes pen lays empty now but i still stop and reflect how life moves on often with i wee tear, i was fond of hamish more than some humans i know , so when i purchased my hymer there was only one name it could be, theres an image of hamish on the back too.
So the question is where did humberto, helen helga or your mohos name come from?
Its sounds bonkers but i write this with a tear in my eye and today will drive home past Hamishes pen.
Mark kingston.
We have had two and thought about naming them but plain old "Moho" has stuck - Hope you come back, mind your temper though (y):rofl::rofl: (y) because there will be lot more of that kind of posts to deal with. However, stick with the positives and you will be good (y)

Ours is Stoney 'cos after buying him we were stoneybroke, coincidently our house was called Stoneybroke because although it only cost £25 plus lawyers fees 53 years ago we were stoneybroke when we moved in a year later. Name not really used now but still geta couple of letters from folk that remember.

20 years (unless you count my dads VW which makes it 52 years with a few gaps!!)
I wont repeat what I called mine when I got the bill for service/mot/cam belt change/ 4 new tyres but suffice to say I had to apologise to her the next morning and reassure her of my undying love before she exacted revenge on me by throwing me the "intermittent engine management light " fault that she has used in the past:LOL:

My first one was Wilbur Wagon, no idea why it just suited it, although shed on wheels would have been more accurate.
