Move house move country, go on a cruise, buy a gin palace, retire. What are your plans and aspirations when the danger of Covid has passed.

I can’t honestly see a vaccine ever. We’ll just have to adapt the way we live. The flu vaccine isn’t particularly effective, we’ve never had a vaccine for the common cold. As far as I’m aware the Coronavirus is a similar virus so I’m not expecting anything to be found that works for long.

Enjoy the rest of my like in whatever form it takes. Certainly not gonna be gloomy. My cup is half full. Might have another when I’ve finished this one 😂😂😂yippie I’m alive there others worse off than me.
Bet that I have a down day tomorrow now but who cares?🤞🤞🍦🧁🍿☕☕☕☕

We are pondering Norway, Finland 🤔. I think that we will learn how to deal better medically with the virus and its effects, treatments will improve and it will gradually reduce further but its going to take a long time.

Wait'n'see if the rushed vaccination options are indeed safe & don't have any unintended side effects...

Obvs the Government want to raise optimism and divert from other matters by raising the Vaccine....but for me... it will be live with it being around for a while yet. My plans for travelling Europe are having to reconfigured due to the B thing... so as long as I can do a little in the Low countries then I'll be satisfied...for now....

Vaccinations are great, I’m a fan but even if one or more of the three main promising ones proves to be successful it is very unlikely that a mass immunisation program could be rolled out with time to spare to travel before the end of the year. One of them requires two doses I believe. There is also the seasonal flu immunisation program which may get extended to cover a wider age range if more vaccine can be bought.
I hope a vaccine can be produced, lots of clever people are working very hard but if even the experts think that at best it may only reduce the severity then I will continue to not make any rash plans.

We have a half world cruise booked for next year, but will probably swap it for our usual Caribbean no-fly one as no chance of getting me on a plane while the virus is about.

France and Spain in the motorhome.

I think the risk factor of flying is considerably lower than a cruise ship by some magnitude.

But as with all things "Covid", it's perception that wins hearts over minds...

It’s our fortieth wedding anniversary next July so any thing special when things get sorted will be based around what we do for that. I would like to think we might start overseas travel again.

Do you actually ever think it will ? Assuming by some miracle one appears by the time we actually get vacinnated it will probably be well into next year or even 2022 , we've also got to redo our residency in reality before we can go anywhere thanks to the B words, If perchance it all managed to happen before the end of the year then the ****ing olives will need to be picked.
The only thing I'd want to happen ,with or without a vaccine, is to get shot of this place. September now before we can put some effort in to unloading it.
