Got our first van last week, after looking far and wide wide (or so it seemed ) we bought an older autotrail cheyenne 614 locally just a few streets away. Not what we thought we wanted, but it feels just right. couldn't wait to get away, and spent first couple of nights at site just outside Oban and loved it. Now that we're finally mobile hope to meet some of you at some time.

Hi Irene, welcome to fun, sounds like a good van, sure you will get a lot of enjoyment from it, any questions just ask, beautiful part of the world to tour Scotland.

Great to hear about your new mh, enjoy your time away in it, they give you such a feeling of freedom:thumb: I see you're in Renfrewshire, so not that far from us (just outside Gatehouse of Fleet, off the A75). We've yet to meet a Funster, so if you're ever down our neck of the woods, let us know and you can pop in. We'd love to see you.::bigsmile:

We've even got room for a "wild camper" in the garden, complete with EHU:thumb:

Since 1990 ish...
Packed up the van this afternoon and ready for off in the morning.
Heading up to Borrowdale, South end of Derwentwater for the rest of the week.
Looking forward to a quiet, relaxing week helping revising for my daughter's GCSE's, trip down memory lane...::bigsmile:
Packed the Stand Up Paddleboards so hoping to get out onto the lake for a paddle, plus the trail shoes for some serious hill running.
No WiFi and no mobile phone signal up there...:Eeek:
