Hi where in Dumfries are you, seen loads of Motorhomes go through town today, think there must have been a tour as about 6 French ones in a row past us.

I have just spent the last hour putting stuff in the van for tomorrow as I'm taking my parents out for the day as my Mum is recovering from an operation and hasn't been out the house for a few weeks, so got some BBQ stuff and a bottle of wine packed for them.

Scarborough not Bridlington

Settling down in Scarborough CCC site after planning to go to Bridlington THS. B****y CCC printed the wrong dates in the mag 2 months running, the Regatta fields closed, not happy after a long drive from Brum. Phoned the unhappy guy from Yorkshire BCC who told the sorry story. They had to turn away quite a few units.
Now at Scarborough, till Sunday when Bridlington actually opens.

Sat under my awning at Stratford racecourse. Struggling to focus on some work, when I'd rather be wandering around the funsters area with a mug of tea talking about what good voice Mike and Graham were in last night.:thumb:

Currently a victim of my inability to say 'no' to an old person in need......welding a cahps fiesta after it failed mot on some 'welding'...they quoted him over £1000 to weld it...starting to understand why! :ROFLMAO:

I kind of understand his thinking, he would rather spend £500 on it as he knows the car, than £500 on a new one with the electronics which scares him.

Must get tougher with people!

It's another gorgeous day here near Gatehouse of Fleet, I should be out in the workshop, but it's stuffy, warm and dusty and too warm to work.
When I see the weather they've been having in France and other parts of Europe, we've done quite well recently:Sad:

Bill has just pointed out to me that it's not the best weather to cut the grass.......it will scorch it he says! Good excuse I suppose:Doh:
