Can someone tell me what these are for? We have 2 of them lying in a small lift up compartment that sits between the 2 single beds but no ideas to their use.

we have these on our hob cover. One has fallen off and haven't used the hob yet. Do I need them? Not sure whether to bother getting them put back on.

one fell of our hob the first time we used it, just put it in the drawer
