These came with our Bessacar E495

Are they to make the bed up here?

One has a hard base init.

Also where do the wooden planks go??

Some of the cushions will go on the pull out slats between seats.
Looks like the wood panels go on the steel tubes on the slide out then remainder of cushions on the wood.
Sometimes you need to slide the two seat sqaubs together and drop the backrest into the gaps left by the squabs.
They are usually a nightmare to figure out and as comfy as sleeping on a park bench.

I spent ages juggling cushions and boards trying to fathom out my arrangement.
A Rubik cube is easier.
As pappajohn said, not very comfy.
