What will I need to take with me to Germany that will be different to the UK

What adapters will I need for things like

Lpg gaslow refillable bottles
Electric hook up lead
Hose pipe connectors

Anything else you can think of that I will need that is different to UK fitment

Your electric hookup lead with blue circular plug and socket will be fine for 90% of the campsites and aires. For the others, you will need an adapter from the German domestic socket (Schuko socket) to blue circular socket, like this. You can buy them in a big DIY store such as Obi or Toom, or even Screwfix Markt.

That's all you need to know. Here's some unnecessary further information. You may be tempted to use a one-piece adaptor, but it's not a good idea. That's because many connection posts have a door that you're supposed to close to keep the weather out. It usually won't close with a one-piece adaptor plugged onto the blue plug of your lead.

There are three types of 'Continental 2-pin plug'. The first fits German/Spanish sockets only, the second fits French sockets only. The third fits both types. Notice it has a hole to take the French reversed earth pin, and clips top and bottom to contact the German earth clips. If your adaptor has the third type, you can use it throughout Germany, France and Spain. Mains appliances invariably have the compatible type, but mains adaptors frequently have the non-compatible types.

Yes, looks OK to me. It has the hole for the reversed earth pin, and the metal contacts top and bottom for the double earth clips.

I would get a male to male hose adaptor too. You may never need it but when you do you will regret not spending a few pounds to get one. :) I didn't need one in Germany last year but I have used them in France a few times.
