If you see some of their spares prices I reckon you got off light. You could have just used gas, with lecky at €3 - €5 a day would have been cheaper.

problem I reckon is the whole product is so expensive they have to charge daft prices for spares to justify original price :(

but TBH £150 is good value compared to all the bits that I have bought (y)

Not always you need to be Scotish or a tight arse like me and shop carefully.
I'm currently trying to source the best choice for the 3 meals I have to eat on this boat.
I'm having a cider while I decide

For that kind of money I would have looked at modifying an ebay one to fit.
If the connections were similar and the shape was close I would get it in.
Elements are pretty generic and can be reshaped without damage

Wasn't the shape it was the screw in fitting,,,Suppose if you were a bit of an engineer the cheap one could be modified but beyond me i am afraid,,BUSBY,,

Bad planning

In the end I had a lovely beef boirgiugoun ( how hard is that to blooming spell )with chips and a wedge off cheese cake plus a diet coke for the princely sum of £9.60

Not bad I think

If the ebay one won't fit you cant compare price

If they are the only ones with an element to fit then they have cornered the market.
No doubt as others have done with similar products.

Why not look into having some elements made and sell them cheaper you might get your outlaw back and make a few quid as well (y)

Bleeding heathen chips with a beef bouguignon, we should never have let the Scotish come south.
