Arrived in Dumfries tonight, posted a random comment about cold showers then went out for a meal

Only had a total stranger turn up at our table asking if I was David

Alan (moodybrook) had taken it on himself to come and find us to see if we were OK

If it had not ben for the reference to 'probably an older person' when asking if we might be in the restaurant, cheeky, we would have got on much better,

only kidding

Thanks Alan, it was lovely to meet you, sort out that retirement and we can do this more often

he 'sampled' one of our purchases from Islay and in true Scottish tradition told us it was awful!!
