This was on a roundabout we saw in France last summer when on our way to provence and the south coast. I thought it was brilliant, much better than some of ours

Yes there are some lovely & unusual roundabout sculptures all over Spain. Some good ones are between Sagunt & Zaragoza . St.George & the Dragon, Giant Serrano ham, Horses, etc.
Around Alicante & the tourist areas they have a penchant for rusty steel sculptures supported by stainless steel . very odd stuff. Then along the coast you get the obligatory fishing boats on nearly every roundabout. Mazarron & Bolneuvo we have old road rollers, steam engines , bulldozers.
You become immune to them in the end & I rarely notice any unless it is completely odd/unusual ,or someone else comments on them.

Try googling "roundabout sculpture" - there's loads of lovely stuff.
One of my favourites is Spitfire Island, Castle Bromwich

Damn, beat me to it.

I'm sure I've seen a more solid one somewhere. Maybe this one....

I go through Chesterfield regularly to get to the M1 but I've never spotted your sculpture. Whatever it is. Just looked on Google Streets, it all gets a bit hectic there, not a time to be admiring odd sculptures, staying alive is number one priority.

In Cardiff we can offer what is locally known as 'The Magic Roundabout;'

Locally it is also the location of the local red light district, so don't kerb crawl past it at night.

At summertime I have seen families hosting BBQ's on the roundabout :)
