MH
Not yet, but looking
I’m considering buying this 2018 Hymer B DL 534. I need a LHD vehicle for travelling to / from Corfu every year for the next 10 years, covering a total of 40K miles. Don’t need a large MH as there’s only me and the Mrs, plus 3 dogs and small parrot. Travelling direct to Corfu by quickest route - not Interested in sightseeing on the way. I’ve been keeping an eye on the classified for a decent LHD and this looks like it fits the needs.

Is it a decent MH and is it good value for £82,500? All comments welcome. Thank you.

The boss likes our BDL, I'm a bit fed up with it. Lack of ground clearance is the main problem, a lot better since I fitted full air and not keen on the lightweight construction. Not much storage for a double floor van.
Can't be that bad we have done 30,000 miles in it (2017 van) nice internal ambiance.

Personally I'm not keen on the 534, I don't like rear lounges and and the design splits the vehicle in two it also has a very small garage.
Seems well over priced but we imported ours and paid quite a bit less than that new.

Very smart, nice shower ,rear lounge gives you a place to go if yoursick of the sight of each other,im not a leather fan, especially if you have dogs,(will theirclaws scratch the leather) but i just dont like leather furniture anyway,it looks very nice ,i would think they are just over £100,000 new ,plus i really like hymers

Nice van, we looked at one of them, well 2 actually, didn’t think the rear seats were very comfortable and Not keen on using a ladder to get in/out of bed, would prefer auto, but better manual than comfortmatic. Garage a bit small too, but cannot expect too much with a rear lounge

I've never seen one in the flesh but I always thought that the design was quite good for a couple, especially the way that 2 longitudinal beds could be made up over the cab or even made into a huge double. The garage doesn't look very large but that's perhaps not a problem for your purposes.
