FUNSTER in a PVC
My PVC is a Citroen Relay high top and I sometimes use a radio Scanner for listening to Aircraft and I use a mag mounted aerial which will stick on the sides of the van but not the roof. I have checked the roof does appear to be metal but not magnetic, any ideas ?

I believe on most there are still spot welds.
Yes could well be, and lots of gloop to help. When we put our windows in our pvc , had to navigate round the stuff.

In general aluminium and steel can be done bonded. Jaguar do it a lot on XEs etc.

Even steel - steel they bond the side and roof sheets to the struts
Thought I had better clarify. Was watching a youtube video about just this not so long back.

They use the glue to make the bond. But to hold it in place while it sets up and locate it properly they use spot welds.
