Whale feed from mains water (1 Viewer)

Good Afternoon
Just filling the water tank and at about half way it stopped. Have had issues before where I had to wobble the input whale to make it work. This time no luck, if I push the valve in the input block, water gushes out, stripped and checked the action, all good. To compound the problem the water pump is now not working. Not too big an issue I hear you say but we start putting in a new bathroom tomorrow and Poll, our motorhome was the solution to showers etc. Any help gratefully received.

Are you saying that you are filling the tank from a barrel with a submersible whale pump into the side of the van? when we had this system the internal pump was isolated when the external whale pump was switched on, yes these pump do pack up eventually.

Sorry poor explanation , since the filling stopped the pump to the taps is not working no green light or sound

Water pump was defunct, taking scotzsue's advice and replacing with a gin still
