Finally got around to chopping my '04 Adria in for a '99 Hymer S630 and duly had Shane AKA Snellyvision take all the extra's off the Adria for installation on the Hymer.

When fitting the rear camera loom on the Hymer, Shane discovered that the wooden cross beam behind the rear valance was suffering wet rot. The dealer has agreed to repair it:Smile: so hope fully no problems.
However if any one has an older Hymer of similar construction it might be a good idea to get under the rear end and check that the beam is well weather sealed.

Also I noticed that the Glow Plug light on the dash (Merc. Sprinter 5 cyl. diesel) came on again for about a minute after the engine was started. This apparently is not uncommon. It indicates that one or more glow plugs have failed, which eventually leads to relay failure and additional expense:Angry:, if not dealt with.

The dealer has also agreed to replace the glow plugs.

Means I'm stuck in the UK for longer than I planned:cry: but that's life.

Pete:Cool:
