Hello All,

I have an Autosleeper Orion Zeta and when I open the wet locker the lock barrel comes out with the key in it !!!

Any ideas how to fix it (if there is such a way) to stop the whole thing coming out?

Thank you.

Some are held in place by a circlip.

No photo at this point gus-Lopez but will take a look at Boringfrog's advice and see if the circlip is missing.
Thank you both for your replies.

Yep as Boringfrog says, probably held in by a circlip. It's probably become incompetent, sprung off, or broken. There are grooves on the lock barrel where the circlip locates. The clip prevents the barrel from turning with the key and prevents the barrel pulling out

Not a big deal. You could fashion a temporary one out of a spare bit of ally, or perhaps buy a new lock. Also, if you have access to old work-type clothes lockers, you could source/cannibalise one.
