Wet Awning issues

just rolled out the awning after a winter away and its soaking inside. i assume the water is getting in as the awning is not closing correclty (i can see a slight gap where it closes cab end). Is there any way of adjusting the closing mechanism to make it more snug?

HI. Yes - pop over to Youtube or Google Fiamma awning adjustments for starters... The big bolts next to the van where the mechanism attaches have some adjustment.

Mine is always wet after any rain as well. I did look at it to make sure it closed correctly. There didn’t seem to be any way of adjusting it so I just accept that’s how it is. We’ve had the van five years now and the fabric does seem to be fine. It just needs washing every so often.

Could be swetting as the fabric is vinyl and can condensate.
