Hoping to go to Weston to watch the carnival and stay a few days. Does anyone know of a campsite within walking distance of centre.
Thank you

Uphill Marina, Bus at gate, Café too, Shop in village, 2 pubs, 10 minutes by bus into town.
Site around a small lake (lake about 1 acre).
Some interesting walks around about too, old church on the hill great view, bit of a slog up tho.

The Somerset carnivals are VERY popular - a big tourist attraction - and I guess all the local sites get booked up well in advance.

Sorry, not much help to you I know. :(

Thanks for all reply’s we are now going to stay at Home Farm Burnham on Sea.
If we four of use travel to Weston to watch the carnival in the MH (5.99m) in the afternoon where would you park for the day, or an alternative way, bus taxi back, taxi both ways if so recommendation of pre book taxi.
Thanks Colin

Car park on sea front next to the old colonial pub has 2 motorhome parking bays, car park above the old burnbeck pier allows parking for 24 hours.
