Well, we're finally going back over the channel, after nearly four years' wait!

Heading to Hungary for no other reason than we feel like it, but meandering wherever we feel like en route. New cambelt, fresh gas in the aircon, dodgy solar regulator replaced and driver's coffee cup holder fitted, so we're good to go! ::bigsmile:

Any last minute suggestions for where to stopover? Thinking of taking the France - Germany - Austria route there, and Slovenia, Italy, Switzerland, France route back. Not cast in stone though. Will do our best to avoid motorways. The only definite is the ferry booking tomorrow! :thumb:

Will be chasing you as we head for the tunnel tomorrow and then Slovenia, if your looking for stop overs in Slovenia then have a look here

http://www.slovenia.info/?parkirisca_za_avtodome=0

They range from campsites with camper stops to vine yards and small farms.

Enjoy your trip

Thanks for that website Gerry, now bookmarked! :thumb:

We hope to meet up in Stuggart with the chap who does our German translations, the couple who run Swiss Terroir, and possibly Glauco in Milan who runs Fattore Amico. We once had a request from a Hungarian vineyard to be in Brit Stops, so we might surprise them with a visit too! Other than that it's wherever the fancy takes us. Probably stay around Lake Balaton for a bit, and do at least one night in the Budapest camp site.

Can't wait (in fact I should be packing now! Ferry this evening! Eek!)

If your going to Stuggart then don't miss the Mercedes museum its a great day out and even my Daughter said it was great not bad for a 14 year old who know nothing about cars.

There is a small municipal site just a 5 min drive away.
