Well G you said you had some bad luck, but from a glass half full view the van was in 2 accidents in 2 days and no one was in it or got hurt and you are to get another better van maybe you should start doing the lottery?

Your quite right that the main thing is nobody was hurt. Jill normally puts the lottery on for us but it don't work even though the van was in her name

But the good news is we won the Lottery tonight. I hope Pete asked for no publicity though; it's embarrassing enough having to tell the other 4 syndicate members it was only £2.70 (in all, not each) without having to tell the world .....

Cheque from the insurance company arrived today as promised.

So, first thing Monday it's off to the bank then back to phone Frank Pickles to get the new van on the insurance so that we can finalise the deal as soon as the cheque clears

Funny thing, though, the insurance company still hasn't told us anything about sending them the relevant bit of the V5 and reclaiming the balance of tax. Have to ring them after Frank Pickles on Monday
