And bought a new (to us) motorhome :Eeek:

Had been thinking about a fixed bed but thought we would not be able afford it.

So when we battled our way through the wind and rain :rain: we got into the first van we came across to get out of the weather :helptitanic:

And it was just what we were looking for at the right price ::bigsmile:

So in a couple of weeks we will be back in Carmarthen to collect our new 'bus' :wooo:

Hopefully it will have stopped raining by then :Doh:

I'm a newbie bought our first motorhome 7months ago and love it
We went to Carmarthen

We were always unsure about a fixed bed, we have a U shaped lounge. Went to the show saw one with a fixed bed we loved. Test driving one this week.

Happy motor homing ::bigsmile:

So we picked up a new MH (a 2004 Swift Kontiki 660) and we love it ::bigsmile: We had the CI Riviera which was our first van, for just over a year, and we loved that too but I couldn't hack it up in the over cab bed :helpsos:so had to make the bed up every night. It was ok but as we spent more time on the road a fixed bed sounded good but didn't think we would not find something in our price range.

But we did and it's great:thumb: Spent a couple of days in case of any issues while we were still over this side of the country ( sorry Jim missed your post re Red Kite - the 3G was a bit iffy at Carmarthen- but found our way to Eileen at Cwmcuttan. Hopefully next time ::bigsmile:)

Next trip is down to Poole to get tow bar fitted and who knows where after that :Eeek:
